The Eldest Child of four siblings,
Pastor Barnes was born in Detroit, Michigan. He received his Bachelor of
Science and Bachelor of Arts degrees from North Carolina A&T State
University. Pastor Barnes is continuing his education with Liberty Bible
Institute where he will obtain his Doctorate in Theology by December 2011.
After hearing a divine Word from the Lord, five years later Pastor Barnes launched True Believer’s Ministries in December 2001. From its inception, the Ministry continues to advance by leaps and bounds. Within nine months the Ministry moved from Pastor’s garage to a store front and eight years later to their current facility. Just as the outer portion of TBM grew, God was expanding the inner workings of the house. Whether at an explosive service or during Street Ministry, TBM walks with signs and wonders through deliverance and healing. This power and anointing has flowed over to the other Ministries of the house: Dance Ministry, Mime Ministry, Youth Ministry, Kingdom Kids (Before and After School Enrichment Program), TBM Kingdom Facility (renting of the facility for various events).

Pastor Barnes is passionate toward instilling the Spirit of Excellence to his flock, which empowers them to move free under the unction of the Holy Ghost. Pastor Barnes is currently covering the following Ministries: Hungry Hearts Outreach Ministries, Women of Destiny, Cultivating Women From the Field Ministries.
